"Editing your images is an important post-processing step. For years, conventional wisdom among photographers dictated avoiding shooting in bad weather, steering clear of shooting into the light, or avoiding scenes with blown-out grey skies. However, with all of our modern tools today we can create, edit out mistakes, turn a bad image into a good one and a good one into a great one.

Editing is fun and can turn a realistic image into an epic image.

Certain private lodges provide their own editing studios fully equipped with everything we might require. However, it's still advisable to carry a laptop with you. Each day, there will be two editing sessions, one after breakfast and one after dinner offering ample one-on-one attention.

Fine Art Editing

Fine art editing is like solving a puzzle,

gradually crafting images into masterpieces. With a cup of tea by my side, diving into editing feels like entering a peaceful realm. I call it "my therapy" because It is calming for me and sparks creativity. It's not just refining images. It is unleashing imagination!

Fine art editing in photography involves enhancing or manipulating photographs to create visually striking or artistic images. Unlike traditional editing, which mainly aims for realism, fine art editing allows for more creative and subjective alterations to evoke emotions or make a bold artistic statement.

It would be a great idea to familiarise yourself with Adobe Lightroom.
